COMPANY SECRETARY

Based in Melbourne, Cassie is a corporate governance expert and currently serves as the Company Secretary for KPMG Australia and its subsidiaries.

Cassie has over 11 years of experience in delivering effective corporate governance, risk and compliance, and Board and Director obligations for publicly listed companies, private companies, and not-for-profit entities. Cassie’s expertise spans a wide range of industries and sectors, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of corporate governance. She is skilled in developing governance policies and implementing frameworks that support sound decision-making. Cassie believes that effective governance is essential to driving sustainable business growth and plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, while fostering transparent communication between the board of directors and stakeholders. Cassie has also served as a Non-Executive Director across a range of companies and sectors.

Outside of her professional role, Cassie is an Affiliate member (AGIA) of the Governance Institute of Australia and is a graduate (GAICD) of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
